Brief:

create a series of one-line digital ink line drawings for the company’s shareholder report: the continual line would flow elegantly from one page to the next, describing scenes pertinent to the subject along the way. I take my “one-line” assignments very seriously, and see each of the illustrations as an intricate puzzle to be worked out; how to effectively and elegantly describe people, objects, and scenes, while maintaining a single continual thread. After the lines were created the agency added the photographic background color bits, which I was thrilled about, they are thoughtful and lovely enhancements to the lines without distracting from them, a great finishing touch.
